GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Pitt County NAACP is gearing up to host a meeting where men and mental health will be the topics of discussion.
The forum is scheduled to take place Sunday at 6 p.m. during the organization's regularly scheduled monthly mass meeting.
Calvin Henderson is the president of the Pitt County NAACP. He says issues relating to mental health represent an unspoken crisis.
There will be a number of guest speakers there to answer questions. There will also be light refreshments and a door prize. The event is free and open to anyone who may need resources to deal with mental health issues.
The meeting is at the Lucille Gorham Intergenerational Center on 1141 West 5th Street in Greenville.
