Michigan man nabbed in Tyrrell County on child sex charges
A Michigan man is in jail with no bond after his arrest in one Eastern Carolina county on charges he had sexual conduct with young children.
Tyrrell County Sheriff Kevin Sawyer says on November 26th they received information about a wanted Detroit man being in Tyrrell County.
Martin Worley was nabbed with the help of the U.S. Marshal Service's Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
The man was wanted on fugitive warrants for five counts of criminal sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13.
Worley's next court date will be December 4th in Columbia.
UPDATE: The Tyrrell County Sheriff's Office previously stated that the arrest was made on November 11th. They have corrected to say that it happened on the 26th.
