Man killed in Nashville home invasion

NASHVILLE, NC (WITN) - A man has been killed in a home invasion in one Eastern Carolina town early this morning.

Nashville police say 27-year-old Marquis Perry was found shot at the Oak Tree Apartments on First Street.

The victim's girlfriend was found bound with zip ties to her wrists, while a 12-year-old child was also discovered in the home. Police say neither were physically harmed.

Police say the murder was isolated, though no one has been arrested in the case.
