Man facing 41 charges after multiple B&Es in Bridgeton
A man is facing more than 40 charges after his arrest for breaking and enterings in and around one Eastern Carolina town.
Bridgeton police have arrested Bodi Marsh for nine counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of trespassing, 11 counts of larceny, and 21 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.
Police say the items were stolen from the outside of homes, under carports, and on or around boats docked at local marinas. Included were ladders, generators, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, fishing tackle, drills, power saws, small refrigerators, a radio, TV, vacuum cleaner, and other power and hand tools.
The 21-year-old Marsh lived on a boat at a marina, according to police, who say the man also slept in his car.
More victims are expected and additional charges are forthcoming, police said.
Marsh is jailed on a $50,000 bond.
