Man charged with breaking into Onslow County church

ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WITN) - An arrest has been made in a church break-in that happened last summer in one Eastern Carolina county.

Jermaine Taylor was charged Tuesday with felony breaking/entering a place of worship, felony larceny, obtain property by false pretense, two counts of felony possession of stolen property, and misdemeanor larceny.

Onslow County deputies say back on June 12th, the sound system at the Happy Valley Church near Beulaville was stolen after a break-in.

The 34-year-old Taylor was jailed on a $25,900 bond.
