Man charged in Goldsboro business robbery
An arrest has been made in the robbery of an internet cafe in one Eastern Carolina city.
Samuel Best, Jr. has been charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of second degree kidnapping, larceny of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and felony parole violation.
Goldboro police say Best was nabbed in the 300 block of Sanborn Lane on Wednesday by the U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force and Goldsboro police officers.
The robbery happened early on October 7th at 117 Internet on U.S. 117 South. Police say two employees were robbed at gunpoint and the next day they got warrants for Best's arrest.
The Goldsboro man was jailed on a $325,000 bond.
