Man arrested in Greenville for two hold-ups at same store

NASH COUNTY, NC (WITN) - A man was arrested by Greenville police on charges that he robbed the same Nash County store twice in the past four months.

Steven Spivey, of Nashville, was found at a home in Greenville.

The 24-year-old man confessed to the October 30th and February 14th armed robberies of the L&L Food Store on Highway 58 outside of Nashville, according to Nash County deputies.

In both robberies, deputies say cash was taken and no one was injured.

Deputies say in the second robbery, a K-9 was able to track the suspect to Batchelor Road, the same road where Spivey lives.

The man is being held on a $200,000 bond.
