The Kinston Police Department says a man is behind bars after a shooting at Club Climax.

Some Lenoir County Sheriff's deputies were working as private security at the club when shots rang out around 2am, and the deputies called Kinston Police for backup.

Kinston Police found a firearm in the parking lot of Club Climax, which led to the arrest of 27-year-old Desmond Ramsey who is charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
