ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WITN) - A Jacksonville man is accused of stealing construction materials from multiple job sites last month.
Zatrick Webber, 33, has been charged with felony larceny, felony conspire to commit felony larceny, and felony possession/received stolen property from a construction site.
Onslow County deputies say they were alerted on January 26th that roof shingles had been stolen from a home on Plow Point Lane. In a second case five days later, a resident on Cascade Court in Hubert also had shingles taken.
In both cases, the two men claimed to be part of work crew doing the repairs.
Webber had his bond set at $12,000 secured and is scheduled to go before a judge today for his first appearance.
Deputies say additional arrests in the thefts are pending.
