Clays shoot to benefit Children's Miracle Network happening today

NASH COUNTY, NC (WITN) - A clays shoot is being held this weekend to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network.

The "Log A Load For Kids" 24th annual Colony Tire/YOKOHAMA Sporting Clays Miracle Shoot is being held on August 2 and 3 at Rose Hill Farm in Nashville.

The event has raised more than $2.5 million dollars for sick and injured children receiving care at the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center in its 23-year history.

The goal for this year is to top last year’s $150,000.

Registration is $65 per round for adults and $35 for youth 15 and under.

There will also be a raffle with dozens of guns up for grabs.

Rose Hill Farm is located at 3881 Rose Hill Lane. Friday's event runs from 8am- 4pm and Saturday's from 7am- 3pm.
