GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - The Koinonia Christian Center Church is hosting its first-ever "Jazz in the Park" for the community on Sunday.
There will be live music, food and vendors set up for the entire family to enjoy.
The headliner of the event is Adrian Crutchfield, who is said to be the last sax player to perform and record with Prince (2012-2016). He's featured on many of Prince's final masterpieces and organizers say he brings a high energy and diversity to every jazz performance.
There will also be performances by: ECU’s own and world-renowned musician, Dr. Carroll Dashiell, Pitt Community College instructor and Music Academy of Eastern Carolina co-founder, Mr. Michael Stephenson, along with Carolina Sound of Raleigh, community favorites, Kruz Band and Ruffin Keys, Rob LaRay of New York, and Bertrand Bailey Jr. of Louisiana.
The event runs from 3pm-8pm at the Greenville Town Common.
