Man wanted in connection to Kitty Hawk convenience store break-in

KITTY HAWK, NC (WITN) - Police are looking for a man they say broke into a convenience store.

Kitty Hawk police say they are looking for James Boggs of Henderson.

He's wanted on several charges in connection to a break-in at the Handee Hugo convenience store at the corner of N.C. 12 and Ocean Boulevard last Friday.

Officers say he's also wanted on larceny and other charges in Vance County.

He is believed to be in the Vance County area near Henderson. Anyone with information should call the Kitty Hawk Police Department at (252) 261-3895.

Police are investigating after they say a convenience store was broken into early Friday morning.

Kitty Hawk police say the Handee Hugo convenience store at the corner of N.C. 12 and Ocean Boulevard was broken into just after 1 a.m.

Surveillance video shows a white man with brown hair and a beard inside the store. He was wearing a baseball cap, blue t-shirt with the Myrtle Beach Polo Club logo on the back, plaid patterned shorts and brown deck shoes. He has a tattoo on his right forearm of what appears to be a snake or scorpion.

It's unclear what was stolen at this time.
