KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) -- A man is facing attempted murder charges after his arrest today for a shooting that happened earlier this month in one Eastern Carolina city.
Kinston police arrested Tyree Hough, 23, for a December 1st shooting in the area of Hyman Avenue and Stadium Drive.
Rashad Perry, 30, and Philo Dade-El, 18, were found by police both suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they used ballistic evidence that linked Hough and a juvenile to the shooting. Hough was already in jail on other charges, while police say they'll serve juvenile petitions on the other suspect.
Hough got an additional $250,000 bond for the shooting charges.
Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting in Kinston.
The Kinston Police Department received a call shortly after 9:30 a.m. for a report of a potential gunshot victim.
When police arrived at the intersection of Hyman Avenue and Stadium Drive, they found Rashad Perry, 30, and Philo Dade-El, 18, suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The two were taken to UNC Lenoir for treatment.
