Kinston RNC delegate looking forward to Trump winning in November

Kinston Republican National Convention delegate and NC GOP Vice Chairwoman Michele Nix, says being at the convention in Cleveland where Donald Trump received the Republican nomination for president has been the experience of a lifetime.
Nix says, "It's been fantastic. It's a wonderful, great experience to be a representative of the people of eastern North Carolina.
Not everyone in the party has embraced Trump, but Nix says, "There's always going to be a divide in the Republican Party because we're free thinkers and we value the individual."
But Nix believes Trump has touched a nerve in the country, saying, "What Donald Trump has done is he has gone ahead and he's speaking for millions of Americans that feel that Congress and our administration is not listening to us."
Nix says she's excited for Trump to move into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue after eight years of the Obama Administration ignoring the Republican Party.
She says because of that, there will be no reason for Trump to work across the aisle.
Nix says, "if we've got a Republican controlled Congress, and we'll have a Republican controlled White House, then I think we'll get a lot of things done for the American people."
