Jones County traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Two occupants were arrested following law enforcement finding drugs in their vehicle during a traffic stop, according to a Jones County Sheriff's Office Facebook post.

The post says the sheriff's office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 70 near mile marker 393 on December 12. Authorities seized several types of illicit narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and U.C. Currency from the occupants of the vehicle.

Molly Coyne Daly, 25, of New Bern, faces felony possession of heroin charges. Secured bond is set at $2,000.

Jonathan Johnny Pak, 34, of New Bern, faces the following charges:

• Felony PWIMSD SCH II (cocaine)

• Felony PWIMSD SCH II (crystal meth)

• Felony PWIMSD SCH VI (marijuana)

• Felony Possession SCH II

• Felony Possession SCH II

• Felony Possession SCH VI

• Felony Maintaining a vehicle for controlled substance

• Possession of drug paraphernalia

• Possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia

Pak's secured bond is set at $15,000. Both were charged and held at the Jones County Jail.
