JONES COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Ten Mile Fork Road will be closed from 7 am April 12 through 6 pm on April 16 as Dept. of Transportation crews work in the area.
The D.O.T. is tying the road into the existing U.S. 17 New Bern Bypass.
Crews will set girders over the road. The two bridges included are the last in a total of 26 structures involved in the 16-mile long and $143.4 million dollar project.
While the closure is taking place, traffic will be detoured onto Scott Road, Oak Grove Road, Killis Murphy Road/ Loop Road and U.S. 17.
