UPDATE: Police identify man killed in Jacksonville shooting

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A 27-year-old man was killed in a Friday evening shooting in Jacksonville, police said.

The victim has been identified as Leroy Quinn of Jacksonville.

The shooting happened along the 500 block of Carmen Avenue around 8:13 p.m., according to police.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public at this time.
