Tuesday is National Pancake Day and IHOP is flipping pancakes in support of local children in the hospital.
From 7 a.m.-7 p.m, IHOP is giving away a free short stack of pancakes for customers, who are then encouraged to leave a donation for the Children's Miracle Network.
CMN raises money to support sick children across all Eastern Carolina counties at the James and Connie Maynard Children'sHospital at Vidant Medical Center.
In the past decade, the event has raised over $39,000.
Donations will also be accepted for the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The offer is available at all IHOP restaurants nationwide.
