Hyundai is recalling nearly 600,000 cars between four different car models for multiple reasons.

The auto maker is recalling Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport SUV's from year 2013 to 2017 to fix the hood latch.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that the actuator cable associated with that latch "may corrode and bind," and as a result, the secondary latch might remain in the open position when the hood is closed.

The second recall is for Genesis and Sonata models from 2015 and 2016.

For those models, the corrosion of a parking brake switch can occasionally prevent the parking brake warning light from illuminating.

Hyundai will notify owners by June 30th to begin to fix the recall.

Drivers are encouraged to call Hyundai customer service at 1-855-671-3059 or your local Hyundai dealership.
