Havelock man arrested on drug charges

HAVELOCK, NC (WITN) - A Havelock man was behind bars Friday facing a couple of drug charges after police say undercover officers bought cocaine from him.

28-year-old David Lagle of Havelock faces two counts of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule two substance, in addition to maintaining a dwelling for the sale, use and storage of controlled substances.

Havelock police say detectives in their department have been investigating individuals for the distribution of illegal narcotics within the city and obtained cocaine from Lagle during controlled purchases.

Online records show Lagle has been released from jail after posting a 15 thousand dollar bond.
