Greenville traffic stop by police leads to $1 million in heroin

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN)- Police say that around one million dollars worth of heroin is off the streets following a traffic stop.

Greenville Police say the stop happened back on November 28th in the area of Greenville Boulevard and Hooker Road.

Investigators say the stop led to the seizure of nearly four and a half pounds of heroin.

Ricardo Juarez-Mora, 41, of Ellenwood, Georgia and Hector Garcia, 39, of Norcross, Georgia, were both charged with multiple counts of level III trafficking and conspiracy to traffic in heroin. Both men were given a $2 million secured bond.

The Greenville Regional Drug Task Force says that the two are responsible for trafficking heroin into Greenville.
