GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A street in Greenville's Uptown district got a new look as part of an ongoing construction project.
A portion of Cotanche Street between East Fifth Street and Reade Circle became a two-way street on Friday.
The reason for the change is to ease traffic for the closure of the Reade Circle and Evans Street intersection. This change is in effect for several weeks and the two-way is to keep a northbound-southbound direction into the district.
The signal at Cotanche Street and East Fifth Street will be adjusted and signs along with markings on the street conflicting with this will also be adjusted.
