Greenville chili cook-off to benefit United Way Thursday

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - The City of Greenville is hosting its annual Chili Cook-Off at Greenville Fire Station #1 on Thursday.

About twenty businesses, individuals and fire stations are entering pots of chili in the competition.

Bowls of chili will be $5, or $8 for all-you-can-eat.

There will also be hotdogs, banana pudding and baked goods up for silent auction.

Meals will be served from 11:30am-2pm on Thursday, November 8.

Fire Station #1 is located at 500 S. Greene St. in Uptown Greenville.

All proceeds benefit the United Way of Pitt County.
