Gov. Cooper visiting home in Kinston renovated using community grant money

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Governor Roy Cooper will be in eastern North Carolina Tuesday.

He will be visiting a home damaged by a hurricane in Kinston.

The home is one being renovated with funding from the community development block grant.

The neighborhood he is visiting was nearly wiped out​​ from Hurricane Floyd over 20 years ago in 1999.
