Four more flu deaths in state this season

RALEIGH, NC (WITN) - State health officials say four more people died from the flu this past week.

The state Department of Health and Human Services says this brings the number of deaths to 192, compared to nearly 400 during last year's flu season.

Flu cases continue to drop across the state but remain slightly ahead of last season.

Flu season generally lasts until the middle of May in North Carolina.
