Fire destroys home in Craven County

CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A home in the east has been destroyed after a fire late Tuesday night.

According to Craven County emergency officials, the call came in at around 11:20 p.m. on Temples Point Road in the Harlowe area of the county. Crews were on scene until about 2:30 a.m. to fight the fully involved blaze.

Officials say nobody was home or hurt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Crews were called back out on Wednesday morning because a few of the spots had rekindled.
