Farmville man among four charged in Fremont murder

FREMONT, NC (WITN) - A Farmville man is one of four people charged with a weekend murder in Wayne County.

Fremont police say Nacarsa Ford, of Fremont, was gunned down around 10:00 p.m. Saturday on Goldsboro Street. Police say the 43-year-old man had been shot numerous times.

On Sunday, police charged 31-year-old Brandon Williams, of Goldsboro for the murder. The next day, 26-year-old Dequinta Horne, of Pikeville, was charged in the case, while on Tuesday 26-year-old Tyheim Pitt, of Farmville, was arrested for the murder as well.

Police say they're still looking for 30-year-old Brandon Haynes, of Fremont. The man is considered armed and dangerous, according to police, and they ask anyone who knows his whereabouts to call the Fremont Police Department at 919-242-5151 or Goldsboro/Wayne Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.
