Duplin, Craven County disaster recovery centers to close this week

More disaster recovery centers are closing almost three months after Hurricane Florence.

The recovery center in Wallace in Duplin County will close permanently at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The center in Havelock in Craven County is also closing at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

People can still register for assistance before the December 13th deadline by calling the Disaster Assistance Helpline at 800-621-3362 or by going online toDisasterAssistance.gov.

One Craven County Center in New Bern will remain open until December 13.
