HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN)- For the second time in two days, a sewage spill has been reported at a familiar site in one Craven County city.
The City of Havelock says that there was 19,500 gallons of untreated wastewater discharged at Oakwood Drive.
That wastewater was discharged into Caps Branch, which flows into Slocum Creek in the Neuse River Basin.
On Monday, the city reported that 58,000 gallons was discharged at the same manhole on Oakwood Drive.
The site has had well over a dozen spills in the past 3 years at the site.
