ONSLOW COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Deputies say a dispute over a failed drug sale led to a man stabbed and a woman charged with the crime.
Onslow County deputies arrested Christena Ingram, of Hubert, for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury and simple assault.
The stabbing happened Tuesday on Saltwater Lane in Hubert. There they found the man had driven himself to the Naval Medical Center at Camp Lejeune.
Deputies say the stabbing happened during an argument over a failed marijuana buy that occurred two weeks ago.
The 42-year-old Ingram was jailed on a $30,000 secured bond.
Deputies say the victim's injuries were non-life threatening and he was treated and released from the hospital.
