CRAVEN COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Deputies in one Eastern Carolina county say a county garbage convenience center was robbed at gunpoint this morning.
Craven County deputies say it happened around 6:30 a.m. at the Craven County Refuse Convenience Center on Highway 101 in Harlowe.
Two men held up the attendant and took off in a small older pickup truck, possibly a Ford Ranger or Chevy S10, with a faded red roof and hood.
The two are described as a white man, approximately six feet tall, thin build, with blue and orange streaks in his hair, wearing a tan shirt and cargo shorts, while the second man was Hispanic, dark complexion and should length hair.
Deputies say the two should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone who spots the men should call the Craven County Sheriff's Office at 252 636 6620, or their local law enforcement agency.
