Students learn about several important topics all pertaining to their new careers including manufacturing, forklift operating, and workplace ethics.

Craven Community College Director of Communications Craig Ramey said, "We want to help people be employed, and have them jobs, and so we have this program as an option so where people can get the skills that they need to be able to come right in and start as soon as possible with some of the basic skills they would need and be more employable and just be more productive on the floor."

For Craven Community College leaders say training and connecting skilled students with companies is part of their purpose in the community.
