College fair brings more than 60 colleges to the East

PITT COUNTY, NC (WITN) - High school students in the East got a chance to see what options are ahead once they walk across the graduation stage in May.

More than 60 colleges from across the country and here in North Carolina had booths set up Wednesday for prospective college students and their parents.

The annual event hosted is by Pitt County Schools and allows recruiters to speak to both public and private school students about career options and college programs.

Organizers say the college fair helps students narrow down where they would like to further their education, and helps prospective students find a college that best fits their needs and budget.
