PHOENIX, AZ (WITN) - A man who authorities say faked being a nurse at a hospital will spend the next four years behind bars.
Attorney General Mark Brnovich says Daniel Stewart, 33, applied for a job at a hospital back in October 2018 and claimed that he was a registered nurse. Investigators say he used the name of a legitimate nurse who had a similar name as him.
This isn't the first time Stewart has impersonated a healthcare professional. In 2010, he pleaded guilty to impersonating a doctor at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Reports say he posed as a visiting resident in training in the emergency room for about three weeks.
He was found guilty and sentenced on the charges in Arizona on November 21.
