GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - Kids in one Eastern Carolina city will get a taste of what it takes to be a firefighter.
Greenville Fire/Rescue is hosting it's annual Junior Fire Marshal Academy this week.
29 students between fourth and sixth grade will have the chance to see what it's like to train as a firefighter.
Today, they'll complete an obstacle course and race to put on their gear.
The campers will also learn how to use a fire extinguisher, perform hands-only CPR, bike safety and more throughout the week.
The camp runs through Friday.
