ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC (WITN) - A man is facing charges after police say he was growing marijuana inside his home.
Roanoke Rapids police charged Maurice Farnham IV with a number of drug charges on Wednesday.
Officers say they have been investigating drugs in the area for months and obtained a warrant to search Farnham's home.
During the investigation, police say they found equipment to grow marijuana, including pots, soil, buckets, hydroponic water pumps, fertilizer gel and more. They say marijuana was also found in the home along with a suppressed handgun.
Farnham was placed on a $10,000 bond and is due back in court on February 5.
