Eight charged in Pamlico County drug investigation

PAMLICO COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Eight suspected drug dealers are off the streets following a drug sweep in one Eastern Carolina county.

The Pamlico County Sheriff's Office arrested and charged 8 people as part of an ongoing drug investigation. During the investigation, deputies conducted traffic stops, executed search warrants and made controlled drug buys.

The following people have been charged:

- Ralph Kinnion of New Bern
Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Opium/Opiate/Opioid/Heroin, Possess CS Prison/Jail Premises, Possession of Marijuana up to 1/2 oz., Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond: $1,000,000

-Amanda Williams of Reelsboro
Charges: PWIMSD Heroin, PWIMSD Methamphetamine, PWIMSD MDMA, PWIMSD SCH II, PWIMSD SCH IV, PWIMSD SCH VI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond: $750,000

-Clifton Saunders of Bayboro
Charges: PWIMSD Cocaine, Possess Drug Paraphernalia
Bond: $8,000

-William Gibbs of Vandemere
Charges: PWIMSD Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond: $20,000

-Alexis Skurjunis of Grantsboro
Charges: Conspire to Sell/Deliver Cocaine
Bond: $6,000

-Crystal Dawn Carawan of Arapahoe
Charges: PWIMSD Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana
Bond: $100,000

-Ariel Skinner of Alliance
Charges: PWIMSD SCH I CS, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond: $15,000

-Octavia Gibbs of Vandmere
Charges: PWIMSD Cocaine
