GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - One Eastern Carolina road will close for construction this morning.
Greenville officials say that crews will close the intersection of West 5th Street and South Memorial Drive today to allow for the reconstruction of a brick crosswalk as part of the 10th Street Connector Project.
The closure is expected to last through the end of June.
West 5th Street will remain open to local traffic between Washington and Bancroft Streets.
Drivers will be detoured onto Memorial Drive, West 3rd Street and Bancroft Street. Drivers can also use the 10th Street Connector.
