EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA, (WITN) - Time is running out for people impacted by Hurricane Dorian to get help.
Disaster Recovery Centers are closing in Beaufort, Buxton and on Ocracoke Island on Thursday.
At the centers, people can talk with state and federal officials about loans and grants to help repair and replace property damaged in the storm.
People can also apply for small business disaster loans there as well. Those who don't qualify might be eligible for a state-funded grant. The centers will be open until 6 p.m. on Thursday.
