Craven County traffic stop leads to heroin arrests

CRAVEN COUNTY, NC (WITN) A traffic stop by the Craven County Sheriff's Office has led to the arrest of three people on heroin charges.

The traffic stop happened in the area of Saints Delight Church Road and Half Moon Road.

The sheriff's office says a search of the vehicle turned up heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies charged 47-year-old Charles Rice, 33-year-old Paula Insley, and 43-year-old Bryan Price, all of New Bern, with felony possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Price is also charged with resisting arrest.
