Vienna Boys Choir to perform at ECU!

East Carolina University’s S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series presents the Vienna Boys Choir on October 17 at 8:00 pm in Wright Auditorium.

The world-renowned choir offers a program entitled “Bella Italia,” featuring popular and classical compositions from Italy. It will include classical pieces by Vivaldi, Rossini, Verdi and others, along with favorites like O sole mio and Volare, among others.

The choir was founded 519 years ago and performed exclusively for the Austrian imperial court until 1918. Famous members include Franz Schubert and Franz Joseph Haydn. In the last 100 years, the choir has undertaken 1,000 tours to 100 nations.

The S. Rudolph Alexander Performing Arts Series offers individual tickets at $10, $25, $35 and $45.

Guaranteed parking is available next to Wright Auditorium for $5 in advance. Alternative parking is also available at no cost.
