Arendell Parrott Academy - Brianne Cregan

Brianne Cregan
BIOGRAPHY:

My name is Brianne and I am a senior at Arendell Parrott Academy. I live in Goldsboro, North Carolina with my parents, three older brothers, our dog Leo, and our cat Cookie. I am captain of the swim team, president of National Honors Society, a presidential service scholar, a member of Cum Laude Society, a member of the Spanish club, an AP scholar with distinction, and an active member of Goldsboro Civic Ballet. I take classes at Goldsboro Ballet four days a week, work as a teaches assistant two days a week, and have rehearsals or performances nearly every other weekend. Despite the enormous amount of time taken by dance, I still allot time for my studies. Currently I am at the top of my class, on track to be valedictorian. My favorite high school experience has been my school’s mission trip to Washington, D.C., in the spring of my junior year. I was selected along with a handful of other students to serve the homeless community there, and it was life-changing. In the fall, I will be continuing by education at Clemson University as a member of their honors college. I plan to major in biochemistry or genetics with a minor in Spanish, and go off to medical school. I love kids, and plan to be a pediatrician with some sort specialization in Neo-natal care or genetic diseases. I am beyond excited for the next chapters in my life. Go tigers!
