WITN Sports Anchor/Reporter & News Anchor
Tyler Feldman joined the WITN Sports team as a weekend anchor and reporter in August 2018. During the pandemic, he smoothly transitioned into a fill-in news anchor role.
He was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is a proud Penn State alumnus, where he earned dual degrees in broadcast journalism and business marketing.
Feldman recently placed first in the RTDNAC awards for best sports reporting for his story "Timeout for Kindness."
While working in the great state of Eastern North Carolina, Feldman has covered everything from ECU and high school athletics, to the 2019 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament in Charlotte, the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, as well as the Carolina Hurricanes' improbable 2019 Stanley Cup Playoff run. He even had the chance to take a spin around Charlotte Motor Speedway!
Before coming to Greenville, Feldman spent two years as a sports anchor and reporter at WBNG in Binghamton, New York.
While working at WBNG, Feldman won most "Outstanding Sportscast" and most "Outstanding Documentary Program" in the 2017 NYSBA 51st Annual Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting.
Feldman was the first to report the sale of the Carolina Panthers. He was also the first to report Penn State football's past two offensive coordinator hires.
During his senior year at Penn State, Feldman experienced the trip of a lifetime and announced two Nittany Lion baseball games in Havana, Cuba.
He has also broadcasted a number of sporting events from several professional venues, including Madison Square Garden, PPG Paints Arena, Wells Fargo Center, MetLife Stadium, M&T Bank Stadium, and EverBank Field.
Feldman previously interned and worked at great places like MLB Network, Big Ten Network, GoPSUsports.com, 105.9 FM The X, 970 AM ESPN, and WTAJ.
The 6-foot-2 sports anchor and reporter is thrilled to be in Greenville and looks forward to working alongside Billy Weaver to provide the best sports coverage in Eastern Carolina.
