Perry Robinson, III is an Anchor/Multimedia Journalist for WAFB 9News.
Perry was born and raised in Jackson, MS, and is the son of Gladys Shae Goodman-Robinson and Perry Robinson, Jr. After graduating from Jim Hill High School, Perry embarked on his journey as a journalist by enrolling at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Perry graduated from USM, with a B.A. in Mass Communications, emphasis in Broadcast Journalism in 2016, and received his first offer in the television business at WTOK-TV in Meridian, MS.
After more than 2 years in East Mississippi, Perry accepted an offer to join the illustrious team at KNOE in Northern Louisiana.
Perry has accumulated a vast amount of experience and awards in the broadcast field. Perry has been recognized by the Mississippi Associated Press Broadcasters for a number of stories between general news, editorials and sports pieces.
Perry is also a Boston sports fanatic, enjoys spending time with family, and is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
