Ellie was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and knew from an early age that she wanted to be a tv anchor whether it was in sports or news.
Ellie got her Bachelor’s degree from The Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at Full Sail University in 2021 and spent a year as a sports reporter at Tennis Channel before getting her first job as a news reporter and weekend anchor at WITN in Greenville, NC.
Eager for a change and the opportunity to anchor a morning show full time she accepted the sunrise co-anchor position at WDAM.
Although new to the state of Mississippi she is very excited to be there for the Pine Belt and get to know the community.
