(Gray News) - The Texas Department of Public Safety discontinued an Amber Alert for a 6-year-old child out of Everman.

Authorities said 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez had been missing since March 24 from Wisteria Drive in Everman, Texas. Police later said the boy had reportedly not been seen by family since November 2022.

Police did not initially detail the circumstances that led up to the boy’s alleged abduction.

It is also not clear under what circumstances the Amber Alert was discontinued. Police said a press conference would be held Sunday morning.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Noel’s mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, in connection to the alleged abduction. It’s unclear if the warrant is still in effect.

Everman is located on the southern edge of Fort Worth, Texas.
