ECU men’s hoops stays undefeated at home, tops North Carolina A&T
Pirates 82, Aggies 71
GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - ECU men’s basketball improved to 7-0 this season at home with a controlled 82-71 victory over North Carolina A&T on Tuesday night in Greenville.
The Pirates led by Vance Jackson who tallied a game high 23 points with 8 rebounds. J.J. Miles also hit 3 from beyond the arc scoring 20 points in the game for ECU. The Pirates led by as many as 18 points in the 2nd half.
ECU did see Brandon Suggs leave the game with an injury. They also played without Ludgy Debaut who had a family matter.
North Carolina A&T got 12 points from former Farmville Central player Tyler Maye. Demitric Horton led the Aggies in scoring with 15 points.
ECU is now 8-2 this season and have the next 10 days off before facing Liberty in the Basketball Hall of Fame shootout in Charlotte on December 17th.
