JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Jacksonville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in an identity theft investigation.

On April 30, officials say the suspect stole more than $4,000 of merchandise at the Lowes on Yopp Road at about 8 a.m.

Officials describe the suspect as a white man in his 20s, about 5′8″ to 5′10″ and thin build. The suspect was wearing a white long sleeve water-resistant shirt, brown pants, tan or gray shoes, and a black mask with a gold Batman logo on it.
