BEAUFORT COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Crime Stoppers tip has led to two arrests in the armed robbery of a Beaufort County store last month.

Beaufort County deputies have charged 24-year-old Quenton Gibbs, of Fairfield, with robbery with a dangerous weapon and second degree kidnapping, and 18-year-old La’nya Werts, of Swan Quarter, with felony accessory after the fact.

The two were arrested Wednesday in Hyde County for the February 25th hold up of Captain Bucks Convenient Store in Pantego.

Gibbs is being held on a $70,000 secured bond while Werts was released on a $25,000 secured bond.

Deputies say the two may be facing additional charges in the case.
