GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) - Vice Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris stopped by our area Sunday to talk to supporters.
Harris arrived at Herman Park in Goldsboro shortly before 5:00 p.m Sunday to speak to a crowd of about 50 people.
The event was closed to the public and local media due to COVID-19 precautions.
However, Representative GK Butterfield, Reverend William Barber, ECU professor, and state senate candidate Donna Lake spoke to the group before Harris arrived.
Harris focused on health care reform and criticized President Trump’s response to the pandemic.
This was not Senator Harris' first time in our state since September, she’s also been to Raleigh, Asheville, and Charlotte.
